Meet the Therapist

Welcome. I am so glad you’re here.
I came to this work, as many of us do, after benefitting so profoundly from the guidance of caring therapists who have helped me in my own healing journey. I feel privileged to sit with those who seek help, and will be honored to earn your trust.
Originally from the Midwest, I have lived and worked in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Spain, Colombia, and California and am happy to provide therapeutic services in English or Spanish. My pronouns are She/her.

My Approach

  • My nonjudgemental, person-centered approach will make space for you to be your whole, authentic self. Attachment research shows the value of a safe, caring professional relationship in the therapy room. I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.

  • Interpersonal Neurobiology, a term coined by Dan Siegel M.D., is the science of how who you are is shaped by interactions between your brain, your mind, and your relationships. I’ll make the brain science approachable, and offer practical ways to harness the power of your nervous system in order to find both relief and empowerment.

  • The latest research shows that our development across the lifespan is greatly impacted by our earliest childhood experiences. I have a subspecialty in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) and since infancy is where each of our foundations were laid, I find the IECMH perspective to be a helpful paradigm when working with clients of all ages. We were all babies once! I believe the story of your life deserves the utmost respect, and I’ll be glad to listen when you feel comfortable to share.

  • My practice is rooted in anti-racism and cultural humility. My highest intention is to “do no harm,” and my greatest wish is that you feel most welcome in my therapy office.

“We humans are always seeking the warmest attachments we can imagine.”
