LPCC, ECMHS

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor focusing on stress, trauma, and resilience in individuals, families and communities.

My professional experience spans across diverse settings, including the backcountry outdoors, multidisciplinary clinical environments, field-based community mental health, and early childhood education. (Part-time jobs at hotels, corner stores, and caterers have also shaped me!) This diversity has allowed me to develop a caring and attuned presence that honors the unique family, community, cultural, and historical context of each individual.

My therapy practice is both anti-oppressive and queer-affirming.

I also have extensive specialized training in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health, and have become increasingly inspired to support caregivers of young children and folks in the peri-partum period.

I came to this work, as many of us do, after benefitting from the guidance of caring therapists and teachers who have helped me along the way.

Those who sat with me have become part of the way in which I work. In this way, I consider myself part of a lineage of helping professionals.I feel privileged to sit with those who seek care, and will be honored to earn your trust.

When I’m not practicing therapy, I can often be found listening to or playing music, exploring freshwater by canoe, and going for walks in my neighborhood. Originally from the Midwest, I have lived and worked in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, Spain, and Colombia, and am happy to provide therapy in English, Spanish, or Spanglish. My pronouns are she/her.
